Dream A Dream

My dreaming’s perfect
I don’t want rest to wreck it
Forever alert
Rigid realism: I plead
Don’t destroy my fantasy

Stay dreaming, loves. Don’t let the world bring you down.
Follow your dreams and make them come true.
And if you find a love that doesn’t let you sleep, know you have something deep.
A wise writer once said: “You know you’re in love when you don’t want to fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.”
But I am an optimist
I believe in best of both worlds. How about you?
