The haiku is such a simple but powerful form of poetry.

One of my favorites since it’s one that is most connected to nature.

It has been snowing

Since you left that fall evening

Solitude’s wintry

Tied to Your Love

You have tied the chain

That keeps me bound to your love

I don’t want the key

-Juliet Rivor © May 2017

Palpitating wings

In my core, the butterflies

You’ve entered my view

They call me rebel

Because I don’t follow them

Looks like that I am

Ocean of Hearts

Look into my eyes

What do you see, if not love

An ocean of hearts

Precipitation inside

My soul is crying

Hot Love

Too close to the blaze

I’ve been engulfed by the flames

Red-hot tenderness

Our chapter ended

So then, what will I do now

Next pages are blank

-Juliet Rivor © May 2017

What you did to me

Taught me what forgiveness means

I am indebted

-Juliet Rivor © May 2017

I am a windmill

Waiting for your winded zeal

Embedded and still

Shower Her with Love

She is like a plant

Shower her with your warm love

Radiant she will stay

-Juliet Rivor © May 2017

Wanna Cry

Dark clouds condensing

A thunderstorm is coming

How I want to cry

-Juliet Rivor © May 2017

Tornado Kids

One, two tornadoes

Racked up my entire home

Wait – the kids did it 🙂
